Premis Ciutat de Barcelona celebrate the city’s most vital contributions to culture, science, and public life. For the 2024 edition, we were invited by the studio Gracias Grecia to rethink how the awards present themselves to the world.

Developed by THRU, the new identity focuses on the people behind the work, using a shifting beam of light as a graphic and motion device to reveal, spotlight, and elevate each awardee. Iconic yet flexible, the system becomes a clear visual signature across formats, giving the awards a renewed presence rooted in clarity, recognition, and civic pride.
