GANGA TATTOO
MOTION IDENTITY
Ganga Tattoo is the studio of Joaquín Ganga, an artist known for redefining black-and-white realism in tattooing. As the brand expanded its presence, a renewed visual language was needed, one that could echo the precision and impact of Ganga’s work.
The identity, crafted by Vagrant, laid the groundwork for a system that feels both raw and intentional, a vital part of what makes the result so cohesive and powerful.
Building on that, we developed a motion language rooted in the brand’s DNA, using procedural tools to generate animated ink-like forms. These marks, shaped by the symbol and logotype, carry a textured finish that recalls the detail and depth of real tattoo work, bringing the brand to life in motion.

At the heart of THRU’s contribution was the development of a custom tool designed to generate ink-like marks procedurally. Built using a combination of different software, the system allows for endless variations while staying grounded in the brand’s identity.
Each mark is formed from the logo and symbol, creating a direct visual link to Ganga’s core. The grainy texture applied to these shapes mirrors the fine detail and depth found in real tattoo work, blurring the line between digital motion and handcrafted ink.
